Newly opened for business, Ackmans Cottage is a 17th Century Devon 'chocolate box' thatched cottage full of old world charm, set in a completely rural setting. With country walks that start straight outside the gate and Thurlestone beach, one of South Devon's most stunning beaches just a mile away, Ackmans Cottage is ideally located for that 'get away from it all' Devon break. The beautiful seaside resort and yachting centre of Salcombe with it's stunning estuary views and high quality restaurants is just 3 miles away, as is the equally delightful town of Kingsbridge with it's local amenities and supermarkets. Please note, no pets.

Directions
From kingsbridge head towards Salcombe on the A 381, go past the South Milton turning, continue up the hill, and as you come down the hill, there is a turning on the right signposted to South Huish. Turn right here (don't confuse with Hope Cove turning which is 50 yards further on) follow the lane past the Sawmill and up through the cutting in the rock. Turn right at the next junction, go past the derelict church (lane wiggles a bit) and about 300 yards on, you will see a sign that says 'Farms only' pointing down to the right. Turn right here and Ackmans Cottage is the yellow thatched cottage after the barn conversion.
